National Shooting Sports Foundation

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) is a national trade association for the firearms industry that is based in Newtown, Connecticut in the United States. The organization's website states that its mission is "To promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports". In addition to promoting gun ownership〔 and the shooting sports, the NSSF helps write safety and instruction standards.〔Rawlings, Nate.
